The Warrant & Civil Division is comprised of 1 lieutenant, 1 sergeant, 2 certified deputies and 1 administrative assistant/clerk.

This division is responsible for all outstanding, active warrants as well as serving civil processes that are filed in Superior, Magistrate and Probate courts. This division also serves outstanding warrants and civil processes sent to us from other counties in Georgia, as well as, from other states if the subjects live in Dooly County.

This division will also enforce Writ of Possessions ordered by Superior and/or Magistrate court when time permits us to do so.

The Warrant & Civil Division is also responsible for court security at the courthouse when court is in session for Superior, Probate and Juvenile courts. We also handle inmate transports to and from court when court is in session, as well as, picking them up from other facilities to be in court.

The Warrant & Civil Division is also responsible for the handling of FiFa’s issued by Superior and Magistrate court that have been brought to us to attempt to collect or levy on to satisfy the judgment.
